The newest addition to the Healesville Hotel offers smart & stylish accommodation just a hop skip & jump from the dining room and bar, K&B and the Harvest Cafe. Furmston House is set on the hill right behind the hotel.
Furmston House was created to offer a more luxurious and quiet option for guests and visitors to the Healesville Hotel and Yarra Valley. The house is very connected to the hotel sitting proudly on the hill, with all the convenience of being a short walk to the main street ... but with quiet & privacy and the luxury of a lovely ensuite on each king size bedroom.
The house welcomes with three bedrooms each with ensuite, pillow top king size beds, crisp white linen, mohair throws & screen printed cushions. The living room with nordic touches looks to the mountains - french doors and windows stream open to bring in sunshine and connect the house to the north facing deck & garden.
Furmston House may be booked as a one, two or three bedroom house. Booked as a whole Furmston House can accommodate 6 guests with lounge, kitchen, decking and garden, perfect for a group of friends or family to share. The house has a loungeroom with flat screen tv, dvd player & games. Nestle into the huge modular lounge and look to the mountains in the distance. In winter stoke the nordic wood heater and in warmer weather throw open the french doors and enjoy the decking & sunshine.
The third bedroom which we call the Studio has a large king size bedroom, ensuite, sitting-room and a little private decking. Complete with tea & coffee making, a small fridge, flat screen TV, ipod docking and dvd player - Furmston Studio is well equipped as a base for exploring all the yarra valley has to offer and is perfect for friends & family groups who want a house with a little space!
The Furmston Kitchen has an industrial feel with a zinc central bench & antique pendants, fabulous bifold windows that open to create an outdoor dining bench with stools. The kitchen is completed with a large enamel cast iron pot, Life ceramic plates, riedel glasses and cooks knives.
